The converter processes the incoming digital audio signal via coaxial cable or TOSLINK and generates a high-quality analogue signal that is put out via phono/RCA connector or 3.5 mm jack. At 192 kHz, the D/A converter supports a comparatively high sampling rate of the channels.
- The external digital-to-analogue converter transforms digital input signals from coaxial or TOSLINK connection into analogue stereo signals.

- The D/A converter connects a digital source such as a Blu-ray player or game console with analogue equipment such as a stereo system or headphones.
